Dr. Rohini Bhardwaj
DVM/Owner
A seasoned veterinarian, Dr. Rohini Bhardwaj graduated in 2015 and completed her postgraduate studies in 2016. Passionate about animal care, she brought her wealth of expertise to our clinic when she relocated to Canada in 2019. Dr. Bhardwaj not only excels in the field of veterinary medicine but also finds joy in her roles outside the clinic. Dr. Bhardwaj is BOAS IPATA (Brachycephalic Obstructive Airway Syndrome) and HAB (Human-Animal Bond) Certified. Apart from her professional dedication, Dr. Bhardwaj is a loving mother to her son and daughter, sharing the joys of parenthood with her supportive husband. Together, they form a foundation of warmth and support, reflecting the values that make our veterinary family special. In her spare time, Dr. Bhardwaj indulges her love for literature, finding solace in the pages of books that complement her compassionate and caring nature.
Dr. Harkanwal Sandhu
DVM
Dr. Harkanwal Sandhu is a dedicated veterinarian with 25 years of experience. She obtained her Bachelor of Veterinary Medicine from Punjab Agriculture University in 1997, and later pursued a Post Graduate in Veterinary Pathology in 2000. In 2020, Dr. Harkanwal Sandhu embarked on her professional journey in Canada.
When not caring for your pets, she cherishes spending time with her husband and two sons!
We are thrilled to welcome her to our team, and she is eager to meet all our cherished clients and their furry companions!
Dr.Khaled
Dr. Khaled Abdelrahman brings over 10 years of expertise in animal medicine, with an interest in infectious diseases and preventative care. Holding both a Bachelor’s degree and a Ph.D. in Veterinary Medicine from Cairo University, Dr. Abdelrahman has extensive experience in clinical and research roles, including diagnostic work at the National Research Centre.
After relocating to Canada in 2019, he has continued to provide compassionate, detail-oriented care, with a strong commitment to client education and professional development.
Outside of his practice, Dr. Abdelrahman has a deep passion for pet birds, enjoys exploring nature, and finds inspiration in spending quality time with his family.
Taylor Power
Practice Manager & Registered Veterinary Technician
Taylor is our RVT and Practice Manager. She was born and raised in Calgary Alberta, and she says she has her parents to thank for encouragement and constantly letting her bring strays home to develop her love and deep connection to animals. After starting in the industry at 17 years old, she knew she was going to make it her career. Taylor graduated from the Animal Health Technology program at Olds College in 2016. Working in small animal emergency and then trying something different by venturing off to BC to work with large animals. She realized Calgary was her home and working with small animals was her passion.
Early on she took on the role as management, she says it has been a huge learning curve working with people, but loves the challenge.
Taylor loves spending time outdoors with her two dogs, practicing meditation and travelling the world.
Krystal
Assistant Manager & Tech Assistant
Krystal brings years of valuable experience to our team, specializing in managing aggression and allergies in both dogs and cats. Her deep understanding and passion for animal care make her an essential part of our clinic.
Outside of her professional life, Krystal is a dedicated mother to two children and a proud caretaker of a variety of unexpected animals. In addition to her work at the clinic, she successfully runs two small businesses.
Known for her unique, quirky, and sometimes unusual personality, Krystal is a one-of-a-kind team member who adds a special touch to everything she does.
Rachel
Tech Assistant/Receptionist
Rachel has a deep love for animals, which led her to work with horses initially before she developed an interest in the medical field and decided to pursue a career in veterinary medicine. She is dedicated to providing the highest level of care for her patients.
Outside of her professional life, Rachel enjoys rock climbing, hiking, and reading.
Kim
Tech Assistant/Receptionist
Kim works as a part-time veterinary assistant and has a keen interest in grooming. With a lifelong dedication to animals, she is passionate about delivering exceptional care to both the pets she encounters and their owners!
Whether assisting in the clinic or providing grooming services, she is committed to making sure pets feel secure, healthy, and well looked after.
Ash
Tech Assistant/Receptionist
Ash is a passionate animal lover and a committed professional at the clinic. Her deep-rooted enthusiasm for animals drives her to embrace every hands-on experience and seize opportunities to broaden her knowledge.
From a young age, her heart belonged to horses, and she has been riding and competing since childhood, even qualifying for the Stampede and winning a national championship buckle in team cattle penning in 2016.
When she's not at work, Ash enjoys cooking, crafting, and creating costumes, all while being supervised by her two cats, Tyler and Marshall, along with her expanding collection of geckos.
